1915 PCGS MS-64 $10 Indian Head Gold Eagle Coin
The $10 Indian Head Gold Eagle is a popular vintage US Mint issue. When assembling a set of $10 Indian Head Gold Eagles, the 1915 is a very tough date to find in higher Mint State grades. A true "sleeper" coin, collectors did not realize the true scarcity of the 1915 issue until recent years where the value has risen sharply.
The US Mint first struck the $10 Indian Head Gold Eagle in 1907, containing .4838 oz of gold, designed for regular circulation with legal tender status and a ten-dollar denomination.
Production continued until 1933, and many coins disappeared during the economic collapse of the 1930s, similar to other Pre-1933 Gold Coins. Hoarding and melting for gold content contributed to their historical and numismatic value.
Today, SD Bullion presents the 1915 PCGS MS-64 $10 Indian Head Gold Eagle Coin, sealed in PCGS slabs and graded as MS-64.

A PCGS MS-64 Coin

MS stands for Mint State, indicating the coin is in uncirculated condition.
