1905 NGC MS-62 $10 Liberty Eagle Gold Coin
The $10 Liberty Eagle Gold Coin reflects the enduring spirit of American patriotism. It worked as the official $10 coin for widespread use in the US from 1838 to 1907, containing .4837 oz of gold and an alluring design signed by Christian Gobrecht, the third US Mint Chief Engraver.
Similar to other Pre-1933 Gold Coins, Liberty Eagle Gold Coins were heavily targeted during the economic collapse of 1929. Due to the rise in gold prices, many of these coins were confiscated, hoarded, and melted down, leading to their near disappearance.
