The Nativity Scene is a very famous depiction of the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem, Israel around 4 B.C. It is said that Mary had to give birth to Jesus in a manger because there was no room available in the local inn. The nativity stories told by Matthew and Luke differ, but they agree on the main points of the story.
