Celebrating the wildly popular Indian Head Gold coins minted in 1908, these ¼ oz Incuse Indian Silver Rounds feature the same glorious designs from those coins. Since those gold coins stopped production several decades ago, these silver rounds aim to bring those designs back to life, reminding Americans of the rich cultural heritage of this great nation.
Being relatively smaller in size, compared to their heavier counterparts, they are an extremely portable precious metals product which can be stored and transported easily.
Each of these coins contains exactly ¼ troy ounces of pure 0.999 Silver (Ag). Moreover, they are eligible for use in various precious metals IRAs throughout the country.
The obverse of this silver round showcases the awe-inspiring side-profile of a Native American Chieftain, who is wearing traditional headgear. In fact, it is said to be an amalgam of headdresses of 3 major Native American tribes in the United States.
On the other hand, the reverse of this round portrays one of the most iconic American symbols, recognized instantly around the world, the National Bird – the Bald Eagle. Additionally, the official and unofficial mottos of the United States, “In God We Trust” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” (Latin for “One out of many”) are inscribed around the aforementioned image.
Since recent uncertainty in the stock markets has driven investors toward investing in precious metals assets, silver rounds are an attractive purchase for those who wish to collect iconic designs in addition to smaller quantities of pure silver.
Orders in quantities of 20 come in a tube fresh from the mint. A quantity of 980 would come in a mint sealed box.
