The Design

The reverse design is a creation of Thomas D. Rogers, displaying a Bald Eagle soaring as the sun rises. The inscriptions read: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “.9995,” “PLATINUM,” “1 oz,” and “$100,” standing for the coin’s origin, purity, metal content, weight, and face value.

CAC - Certified Acceptance Corporation is a New Jersey-based third-party grading company founded in 2007. It uses the Sheldon Scale to appraise numismatic items, ranking coins from 1 to 70 according to authenticity and condition
