The Design

The reverse showcases the all-seeing eye over a pyramid, a pattern element of the series design, along with seven demons, representing the seven deadly sins.

It is engraved with the series name “THE AWAKENING,” and the banner “ANNUIT COEPTIS” as the American Seal, meaning “God has favored our undertakings.”

Information regarding the round’s weight, metal content, and purity read: “.999 SILVER 5 TROY OZ.” Lastly, the words “YOU CAN’T WAKE A PERSON WHO IS PRETENDING TO BE ASLEEP” surround the bottom rim.

The obverse depicts Superbia as a woman admiring her reflection in a mirror, symbolizing excessive self-focus; a peacock, which represents the flaunting of its feathers; and a demon also looking at itself in a mirror.

The only engraving on this side is “SUPERBIA.”
