The Design

This is a rectangularly shaped bar with rounded edges, a brilliant luster, and a smooth surface. Both sides showcase portrait-oriented design imprints.

The obverse features the Coat of Arms of Niue centralized over a backdrop of foliage. The engravings lined up beneath the national seal describe the bar’s face value, weight, metal content, purity, and year of issuance: “2 DOLLARS 1 OZ AG 999.9 2026.”

The four-digit serial number lies at the bottom.

The reverse depicts a Nile crocodile devouring a fish by the riverside. Its tail surpasses the bar’s border, extending to the obverse side.
