The Design

Jody Clark's front design was inspired by William Wyon’s "Una and the Lion" design from the Royal Mint’s earlier coin series. 

The design is presented in landscape orientation. Una and the Lion are set against a decorative backdrop, accompanied by the phrase "DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS," which means "May God direct my steps."

The reverse side displays the Royal Mint logo and key hallmarks for weight, metal content, and purity, reading "1 oz 999.9 FINE SILVER," all set within the same background pattern.
