When the series is completed, there will be a total of 60 2-ounce coins, each depicting a famous scene from the Bible. This series is a fan favorite for its Biblical relation and the uniqueness of the series, and the reputation of Scottsdale Mint. The Design of the coin

As found in other Biblical coins in this series, each Certificate of Authenticity features a Bible verse that gives narrative to the image depicted on the coin. The 2021 2 oz Death of Samson Silver Coin, the COA card features the following verse: 

“[Samson] prayed, ‘Let me die with the Philistines.’ And the temple crashed down on the Philistine rulers and all the people. So he killed more people when he died than he had during his entire lifetime.” Judges 16:30 (NLT2).

The reverse face of this silver coin illustrates the passage as it depicts Samson knocking over the stone pillars to bring the roof down on the Philistines. The words “Death of Samson” are inscribed on this face. 

Similar to other silver coins in this series, the obverse face of the coin features Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s effigy. Surrounding the image are the following: “Niue Two Dollars,” “2 oz 999 Fine Silver,” “Queen Elizabeth II,” and the year of issue, “2021.”
