The scene is accompanied by the inscription of “JUSTICE” on the top of the coin and “Fides et Justitia,” a Latin phrase meaning faith and justice. Lastly, the year of issue is found to the right of the woman.

The reverse bears the Gibraltar Coat of Arms, year of issue, weight, purity, and denomination of the coin.
