1902 PCGS MS-67 $2.50 Liberty Quarter Eagle Gold Coin
The Liberty Quarter Eagle was the official $2.50 coin in U.S. circulation from 1840 to 1907.
They were produced by the US Mint with 0.12094 troy oz of gold, and they showcase a classic design by Christian Gobrecht, renowned for being the longest-running unchanged design in the history of American gold coinage.
Like other pre-1933 gold coins, many Liberty Quarter Eagles vanished during the 1930s economic collapse, as they were seized, stockpiled, and melted for their gold value.

A PCGS MS-67 Coin
PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70.
MS means Mint State and describes a coin with a business circulation coin format. 67 is the grade attributed to coins with sharp strikes with full, original luster, some minor contact marks, and a single, more noticeable but not detracting mark.
