The Design
This minted bar is rectangularly shaped, with rounded edges, smooth surfaces, and design elements imprinted on both sides.
The reverse features a vertical blue stripe at the hoist with a white star in the center. The colors carry a specific symbolism: blue stands for loyalty, white for purity, and red for bravery.
The obverse received portrait-oriented engravings and maintained monochromatic silver.
The inscriptions describe the bar’s information of weight, metal content, and purity, reading “1 TR OZ 999 FINE SILVER,” followed by the Scottsdale Mint’s famous logo, the crowned lion.
Because of the proof-like finish, the bar exhibits a brilliant appearance on their surfaces, similar to a proof sample.
