The Design

The obverse image of Frankenstein follows Shelley’s description with the most intricate details. It showcases a tall and ugly being with visible gross scars, wearing a tattered jacket. Lightning strikes in the background showing the moment when the monster came to life after being struck. Following the rest of the series, the character’s name- “FRANKENSTEIN” arches on top.

The Intaglio Mint logo covers the reverse surface, accompanied by the round’s essential information regarding weight, metal content, purity, and issuance through: “ONE TROY OUNCE,” “.999 FINE SILVER". Alternatively newly minted rounds will come with the Vintage Horror Emblem, which features the word “VINTAGE” above, spelled out on an old movie reel, with “HORROR” across the center and the hallmark across the bottom.
