2014 1.5 oz Arctic Fox Silver Coin
Besides the Maple Leaf Series, the Royal Canadian Mint produces other alluring coins. The Arctic Fox Silver coin is one of them, which, unlike traditional silver coins, weighs 1.5 oz.
Also known as the white fox or polar fox, the arctic fox has a thick fur that changes color to become an efficient camouflage. It is brown in the summer and white in the winter.
The Royal Canadian Mint displays a lovely depiction of this animal on the coin’s reverse design, which charms coin collectors who appreciate art imprinted in precious metal pieces.
