BU - Brilliant Uncirculated - This term refers to the condition of the coin as being in the direct from mint condition. BU coins can contain minor minting flaws caused in the minting process ie. Minor Scratches a Small Marks.

Circulated - This term is used for any coin that is purchased back from customers or possibly coins from older dates. These coins may contain some imperfections such as scratches, discolorations, etc.

Proof - These are coins typically minted with a mirror like finish. These coins are inspected at the mint to ensure quality and will not have any considerable flaws.

AG - This is the atomic symbol of Silver and used sometimes in descriptions or on coins to denote Silver.

AU - This is the atomic symbol of Gold and used sometimes in descriptions or on coins to denote Gold.

Premium or Price over Spot - This is the additional price of the current live trading price of Gold or Silver. These are based upon the acquisition costs of some coins and these will vary between products and can change at any time due to market conditions.

Bid - This is the price that is used when individuals are selling to businesses or other individuals. SD Bullion uses the Spot Bid Price when buying from customers.

Ask - This is the price that is used when individuals are buying from businesses. SD Bullion uses the Spot Ask Price when selling to customers.

Numismatic - When the term "Numismatic" is used in place of "Bullion", it is referring to a product that typically has value far beyond the metal content. In simpler terms, it means the "collector value".
