Five 1996 Australian Gold Nugget Proof Coins accounting for 1.9 oz of 99.99% pure gold were gathered in an alluring wooden box: 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz and a newby, 1/20 oz coins.

The first Australian Gold Nugget was released in 1986, with Sr. Stuart Devlin’s reverse design, inspired by the Bobby Dazzler gold nugget discovery in 1899 in Western Australia.

The reverse design displays the hopping Kangaroo created by Milena Milan and the “P” mint mark from the Perth Mint.
