1907 NGC MS-65 $10 Liberty Eagle Gold Coin
1907 marks the US Mint’s last strike of Liberty Eagle gold coins. They served as the circulating $10 coin in the US from 1838 to 1907, when they were replaced by the $10 Indian Head Gold Coin.
Because of their gold content, corresponding to .4837 oz of actual gold, several Liberty Eagle Gold Coins were confiscated, hoarded, and melted down during the economic collapse of 1929. That severely decreased the number of Pre-1933 Gold Coins available in the market.
At SD Bullion, you can find 1907 $10 Liberty Eagle Gold Coins sealed and certified by NGC as MS-65 coins at SD Bullion.

The Design
Christian Gobrecht, the third Chief Engraver of the US Mint, designed both sides of the $10 Liberty Eagle Gold Coin.
On the obverse, Lady Liberty is depicted wearing a coronet inscribed with the word "LIBERTY." Her bust is surrounded by thirteen stars, symbolizing the original thirteen colonies, along with the year of mintage.
The reverse features the Heraldic Eagle, which bears the national shield on its chest, arrows and oak branches in its talons, and the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" on a banner above.
Encircling the eagle are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "TEN D.," indicating the coin's face value.
An NGC MS-65 Coin
NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale as a parameter, apart from sovereign mints.
An MS-65 coin means that the analyzed coin has the same format as a business coin that still displays high-quality luster despite its aged mintage. Minor contact marks and scatters may be noticeable, but the coin has an overall quality above the average.
