The Design
The obverse portrays The Enforcer, who names the debuting coin of the Surfboard Series.
With vibrant colors and ancient symbolism, the image depicts the Enforcer as the one in a tribe in charge of keeping the group obedient and devoted to its beliefs.
He seems to be performing a ritual, wearing an ancient mask, on the beach, under the moonlight, surrounded by skulls and an erupting volcano in the background, contributing to a mystic and dark atmosphere.
The reverse side is monochromatic silver, with the beach, fire, and waves imprinted in high relief. The Public Seal of Niue is on the bottom, with a four-digit serial number engraved aside.
The coin’s weight, metal content, purity, face value, and issuance information are on top, inscribed with elegant handwriting. It reads: “2023,” “999.9 Silver, 1oz,” and “2 DOLLARS.”
