The Design
This coin is struck with one troy ounce of .9999 pure silver with a reverse-proof finish. For an exclusive aesthetic appeal, a reverse-proof coin features mirrored design elements over frosted background areas. This scaly beast is hunting its prey as the design features the crocodile with its mouth wide open, showing its sharp and deadly teeth.
The obverse side features the Solomon Islands’ stamp with Queen Elizabeth’s effigy, as the Solomon Islands government backs this coin. This silver coin contains a 2 dollar face value and also features the year of issue, weight and purity of the coin on the back. Lastly, each coin is individually serialized, and the serial number is featured on the back of the coin. You can also find the serial number on the COA card that accompanies each coin.
