1911-S PCGS MS-62 $5 Indian Half Eagle Gold Coin
The Indian Head Half Eagle was the official $5 gold coin of the United States from 1908 to 1929. Its distinctive name comes from its iconic design by renowned sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, which features a Native American chief, a powerful tribute to America’s heritage.
Struck by the U.S. Mint, this historic coin contains .2419 troy oz of gold and was produced at the Denver, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and San Francisco mints. Coins bearing the "S" mint mark were issued explicitly by the San Francisco Mint.
Today, SD Bullion offers 1911-S Indian Head Half Eagles sealed in PCGS slabs as MS-62 coins.
